July is just around the corner, and that means lots of Patriotic Summer Parties! Here are some fun ideas for using Lolli-Pop Flowers in your party decorating and planning.

To create this fun swag, make three 12" Lolli-Flowers. Cut large circles for centers. Make 2 of the largest patterned 3-D star. Use Bo-Bunny USA letters for center piece. Tie coordinating ribbons around a dowel then tie flowers hanging from dowel at various lengths.
This 36" swag is perfect for attaching to underneath a mantle or window for the entire month of July. To make this swag, use three pieces of each color of 12X12 paper cut into 6" strips. Follow instructions for scoring the paper in 1" intervals. Glue 6" strips together and then glue colored strips together. Fold and hot glue in center, then glue top to a dowel for support.
Create this fun, interactive centerpiece using a clear paint can and different sizes of Lolli-Flowers. Provide cellophane bags (decorated with coordinating ribbon and patterned paper) for guests to scoop up yummy candied popcorn as a party favor.
To Make: Make flowers in a variety of sizes (we used 4X4 and 2X2 strips), decorate flowers as desired and glue onto dowels. Fill paint can with bright, coordinating candied popcorn and stick flowers in. Provide a scoop and bags for guests to dish out the yummy treat!
Here is an easy candied corn recipe if you don't already have a favorite:
Patriotic Candied Popcorn
1 ½ cups of unpopped popcorn (less if you like more candy on the popcorn, or double candy recipe)
2 cups sugar
½ cup water
Red or Blue Food Coloring
Pop the popcorn. Take out any unpopped kernels.
In a medium pan, stir together sugar, water and food coloring. Stir just until mixed. Cook over medium heat (DO NOT STIR) until syrup forms a thread. Remove from heat and pour over popcorn.
Optional: Add a flavoring like coconut extract.
This is the best popcorn EVER! We made this popcorn and it was really so delicious as well as a wonderful conversation piece at our daughter's party. We just changed up the color and WOW! Easy Peasy to make also.

The lolli flowers are so cute, but add the popcorn & I just have to try this.
Would love it if you'd link up to Fab Finds for the Fourth for the next 3 Thursdays.
